Pest on the Run: More Humorous Short Stories from the Paddy Pest Chronicles Gerry Burke First edition

Tales from the Paddy Pest Chronicles are engrossing stories of adventure and intrigue with lashings of humor and quite unbelievable scenarios. This is Raymond Chandler meets Maxwell Smart and Paddy Pest is quite like no other detective you have ever known. The Aussie gumshoe carries a Beretta under his arm, a Glock in his ankle holster and a fold-up boomerang in his coat pocket.

Pest on the Run is the third book by Gerry Burke that features Patrick Pesticide aka Paddy Pest. As always, there are dames, debt-collectors and dead bodies. The volume consists of fifteen separate stories, over one hundred thousand words and more than a dozen illustrations.
