The people of Cambrian are aware of their existence as characters in a story. A church is founded under the instructions of a sacred document passed down by the all knowing Plotseer. To pay homage to the Author and ensure the continuity of existence, the church takes priority. Lucy Prior and Byron Tanner are two young people who have been raised within this way of life, but when a new Plotseer is discovered the fabric of a conspiracy against the Author and the people of Cambrian begins to surface. What is the truth and how far should people be willing to go to find it?
