Lovies? Big Day is a children's book about a little girl who discovers she has a gift of speaking with animals on her birthday. Lovie, the little girl meets a new friend, Bold Eagle Wings and learns about taking care of our world and life from the perspective of an eagle. Lovie takes flight on Bold Eagle Wings? back as they soar high in the skies, past Seattle and land in the forest by Mount Rainier. After seeing such beauty, Lovie promises to take good care of the earth and be kind to all creatures. This story teaches the value of kindness and conservation using unique illustration to connect with children. Someone shared a quote from a six year old child who said, "Have you ever wanted to go somewhere the only limit was your imagination?" I wrote this story with this idea in mind, Suited for readers between 4-9 years old.
