The life of a public figure can be consistent in both the private and public arenas, but what about one that is inconsistent? Who suffers? What are the consequences? When should the hypocrisy be exposed? Where is the help? How can the troubled soul be comforted? This book answers these questions and also asks the reader to answer questions. Internal conflict that is invisible to the world is easily dismissed as too subjective, unlike the visible evidence of physical abuse suffered by too many. However, emotional abuse is equally as damaging (some say more so) as physical abuse. This is not a how-to book. Rather, it is a story that encourages us to keep moving forward until we break through. We do not have to muddle through by ourselves. We do not have to die alone.
