A cleverly crafted first book, Watkins filled the story with lies, deceit and paranoia which was set up by Dainelle's best friend and Maid of Honor Monique and ex-boyfriend Ahmad, two characters who will do anything and everything to ruin Dainelle and Lance's lives and break them apart in front of their respective families and right at their own wedding ceremony.
