Ticking Don Gage

A teenager witnesses a catastrophic flood hit his town. Then he finds himself going back in time, and tries to warn people about the impending disaster. The problem is, there's a huge cost to averting it. Will anyone listen? Will it make a difference? Or is it all in his head? This is his story as he tells it. It is designed to be a light read and entertaining. But it also has a serious side to it, reflecting the serious reality in which we live. Mega-disasters hang over our future as a people. And many don't get it. Their vision is cloudy. As a people we will some day (like Scrooge) wake up and wonder, ?What day is it?? Will we also (like him) have the satisfaction of finding that it is not too late to make things right? Ticking is meant to encourage those striving to make a difference, as well as those who support and nurture them. It also hopes to urge those drifting and asleep at the wheel to wake up before it's too late.
