When a cosmic event shrouds the sun, plunging the world into darkness, mankind descends into chaos and as civilization collapses, a species that has stayed hidden underground, now find a frightened and weak population to devour. In New Haven Connecticut, Peter Nelson and his High School friends wage a counter war. But before long Peter finds himself looking for revenge, enduring power struggles and fighting his own demons.
