Nurse LaLa adapts her character to create inclusiveness of the male nurse role in healthcare. The character "murse" takes young readers on a journey through the world of nursing to explore sixteen different specialty areas to practice in. The hope is that young readers would be inspired to join the profession. Nurse LaLa discusses her challenge of fear and how she overcame it. Readers will be inspired, encouraged, and motivated to overcome fear themselves. This book is relatable for those in late elementary school and beyond.
