This book is a reflection of 80 years between the 1930?s?Big Depression? and the world today. The changes that took place in our world during those years are described along with the hardships and scarifices. WWII was a challenge for our country to pull together like it had never done before. That meant rationing for everyone and turning auto manufacturers into tank and gun producers. Growing up 80 years ago without all the technologies of today made life a lot harder but had a quality of its own. We learned that hard work during those years made you appreciate new products being made to make the day easier to cope with.
