Joe King

Funny Paperz #7 - P is for Parody: the A-b-cs of Editorial Cartooning Joe King

Parody Collection of Editorial Cartoons by Pulitzer Prize Nominee, Joe King THE NATION "Joe has more truth in his pen, than Bill O'Reilly could muster with a thousand "falaffels", and more integrity than Limbaugh could ever envision, in the most intense of oxycontin orgies." -Eric Blumrich/BUSHFLASH. COM ***** THE NEIGHBORHOOD "The cartoons reveal the ambiance of the area, adding credibility to his other local cartoons. They prove he is an insider... having street cred adds import addressing local concerns... and quality of life." -Stuart Rapeport/AAEC ***** THE NANNYGOATS "Future generations will finally recognize his moustachioed genius..." -JP Trostle/AAEC Unapologizingly patriotic, these bold, black & white cartoons are heart-felt, patriotic, funny, touching, thought-provoking. There are no, neat little boxes to write in, but then again, Joe's artwork refuses to fit into neat little boxes too (i.e.: everything he does is different and unique; and hard for me to define, except to say I truly enjoy it.)" -CHOCOLATE FREEDOM/Amazon.com "Joe is a national treasure! I'm a marketing expert and cite Joe King as a great example of a very clever artistic person who understands well how to put together the marketing puzzle pieces so he can earn a living solely as a creator of joy and insight. Cartoonist Joe King's indie books are part of his overall positioning (branding) as an illustrator, cartoonist, book designer and marketing producer. His syndicated cartoon strip is published in California newspapers, his caricatures are treasured artwork..." -Bruce Batchelor/Agio Publishing
