Holy Cow: The Famous First Words Collection. The reality of First Words: bad words/good words--notice your reaction, raw purity, all aspects of Self--each as valid and essential as any one of the others, instinctual, visceral, pre-Babel, and totally inappropriate. First Words have a waking-up quality about them. They tend to shock or unsettle the automatic and habitual mind. They become the sacred cows and taboos that wield a two-edge sword over the minds they subdue--and for us, a subdued mind is a dead mind.
