One day during a conversation with my Pastor, we discussed the source of the Biblical stories about the birth and early life of Jesus. None of the writers of these stories were present at any of these events. All of the writers were men. Who, then, told these stories to them? My Pastor's conclusion was that it must have been Mary. That conversation gave me the idea to retell and elaborate upon the Biblical stories in which the writers indicated that Mary was present. The names, the places, and the bare bones of the events are Biblical----all else is imaginary----from the viewpoint of a woman?Mary.
