Publisher Marketing: A six-pack of semi-retired men including a sailor, tinker, spy, hacker, craps dealer and ice cream truck driver are recruited to thwart a plot designed to control billions in U. S. money. The Naval Special Operations group 'PRIAM' recruits the six. All have experiences with U. S. intelligence. None of the members of Grey Team Alpha are 'spit and polish' military or CIA operatives. A group of Russians, bent on returning their nation to USSR status has started to extract massive amounts of money from the U. S. PRIAM has some, but not all of the answers to the identities of the players. The money withdrawals are increasing exponentially. Tie-ins with Cartagena, Havana, Aruba, Moscow and Washington, D. C. are all interwoven. Gray Team Alpha members must unravel the mystery of all who are behind the money laundering operation along with the tie ins with drug and human trafficking. They must put a stop to the illegal businesses before it affects the financial stability of the United States. The Gray Team members are assigned tasks that each has personal expertise. Jason Masters, the sailor along with Arvin Kay the ice-cream truck driver (and self-styled neo-Communist) are assigned to first hand observation work in Havana. Retired Col Damson Parsons, a former expert in interpreting intelligence along with Troy Binto a tinkerer and electronics engineer must put together the necessary tools to eavesdrop on the Russian moneychangers. Adrian Applewhite, a computer programmer and hacker has the job of tracing the money as it leaves the U. S. and track its final destinations. Bobby Taray, the craps dealer, is slated to gather direct intel as he deals to some of the leaders of the money cartel. PRIAM is headed by Admiral Rosenbier, a chain smoking rebel who has been set aside to an intelligence gathering niche of the Navy. He assembles the team of seemingly has-beens as they have no current signature on the international spy network radar.
