On the Farm: Caring Stories for Young Children Riitta Korpinen

This book has been created in order to make children feel happy and safe. Each story has a happy ending. The friendship between the people and the animals comes out clearly. The purpose of this book is to bring out care and respect towards the environment and other people. It can also give some helpful ideas for the situation in kindergarten or preschool. These stories can be told to the child as well. Some of them are suitable "good night stories" As life at home, particularly in cities, can get very busy and children have less time to go to forests or visit farms, the stories give children images of life outside of the city.
