The Christian Guide to the Enneagram: Why We Think and Act the Way We Do Randall Lee Tucker

Publisher Marketing: The Enneagram provides an amazing framework for understanding human behavior. Revealing both the positive and negative traits of each personality type it provides us with a path for growth (integration) and a path to avoid (disintegration). Though an ancient system it is consistent with the findings of modern psychology. The Enneagram's many remarkable aspects become even more evident when compared with the typologies of Karen Horney, Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung and the psychiatric personality disorders defined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. This book includes sections for counseling each personality type, making it an excellent resource for pastors, counselors, therapists, psychologists and anyone who helps others. The Create, Connect, Commit philosophy of change is also included. CCC teaches people how to change and personality typing is at the heart of it. The Enneagram provides the framework for the self discovery that allows us to make permanent, dynamic changes in our lives. Written from a Christian perspective, this book helps Christians to live their lives as New Creations. When at their healthy psychological levels, each type is most in tune with their own spirituality. This book will change your life forever, creating both personal and spiritual growth.
