Publisher Marketing: After suffering a tragic accident in a restaurant building collapse, the amnesic Jeff Pollock finds himself at his Uncle Brent's mountain lake home looking for peace and direction. On this vacation he meets an extremely familiar girl whom he seems to remember from his past, but who assures him they have never met: Victoria Mayberry. She is kind, very attractive, and devout in her faith. Her presence joggles Jeff's mind to the point where he begins searching for the pieces of his crumbled memory. How does he know Victoria? Where had he seen her? What exactly happened the night of the restaurant collapse? Victoria becomes all the more intriguing when it seems that his Uncle Brent and the rest of the Pollock family all know this mystery girl, but have kept her identity secret - but why? His whole family arrives at the lake house creating a dramatic and humorous setting for the revelation of Jeff's history. As the memories of his life flood back into his mind he soon realizes exactly who Victoria is and that their intimate but troubled past may or may not lead them closer to each other - and as she desires, closer to God. Further, his spiritual journey is plagued by his girlfriend, who refuses to tell the whole truth about their own relationship. While trying to map together the memories of his past he also is striving to find forgiveness from God and to fulfill the promises he has made to those he loves. But how? His true recognition of God eventually occurs during the dramatic climax of his search and the restoration of his memory. It is then that his previous mistakes become fully present and his duty as a man is also revealed. After experiencing forgiveness, he is able, finally, to love - but who will it be? His girlfriend, or Victoria?
