While investigating an explosion at a local factory, small town, Indiana Sherriff, Jake Mathews, discovers something that could change the world forever. He also discovers that his place in the world is not what it once was, and sets out on a journey to stop a madman, and find himself. Jake becomes part of a circle of mystical knights that operate in a reality "below" that which we live, a circle that protects us without even our knowing.
