The Author is trying to follow the path of a $10 (Dollar Ten - title of the book), where she (Dollar Ten) travels, who all gets her, and she tells their stories, struggles and her experience with the individual, family, society and surroundings. She does not know who will be her next caretaker or troublemaker, rich or poor. In the Story 1, Author is giving more importance with the value of dealing honorably with others, and the Story 2 talks about the importance of fostering a love of learning in children. Author depicts through the characters how harmony, peace and happiness could be achieved and what are the roles of an individual and what we are not doing.
