"Reading Studies" teaches students of all ages how to read and play music for the guitar. Topics include how to read notes in open position, musical symbols, open and barre chords, rests, tuning and more. The book focuses on teaching students how to be good at sight-reading music; something that is valuable despite what style of music the student likes or aspires to play. Dozens of worksheets are also included to help the student internalize the lessons. It may be used in private or group lessons; yet it easy to understand for those who do not have a teacher.
