300 Bucks and a Dream: Professional and Personal Success on Your Own Terms Pat Rider

What would you do with an extra $300? Pat and Craig Rider used it to make a dream come true. During their honeymoon they dreamed about starting a business together. Less than a year later that dream became a reality as they established a consulting business with an extra $300 Craig earned teaching a public speaking course. The Riders never looked back as they embarked on a personal and professional journey that spans almost three decades. 300 Bucks and a Dream provides an intimate picture of how two individuals with contrasting talents and approaches forged a life and a business together. They share the fun and frustrations of working with individuals, corporate executives, business teams - and each other. Their stories run the gamut of emotions from humorous to harrowing to heartwarming. The authors recount the changes they have seen in the business world and share ways they made adjustments to take advantage of those changes. In addition to weaving a good story, 300 Bucks and a Dream provides practical guidance on starting, running and building a business.
