It has been over three years since the Lord awakened me from a deep sleep, and whispered these words "Parasite and preserve." At the time I was unaware of what I would uncover concerning them. It is the analogy of a parasite and sin that God wanted to reveal to me. In doing so I would come to understand their correlation. God further revealed the similarity of what happens to people who come under an invasion of parasites just as our "spiritual man" comes under attack by the evil one (devil). The parasites and the evil one uses its host, solely for its sustenance and purpose. However, the same result for their host is death. God's indwelling Spirit is the preservative that protects the believer from the evil one's parasitic attack of sin.
