This handbook is something like a book on cleaning for dummies, just a little more detailed on the art of cleaning like the professionals do and to help save you money. As you begin your journey with me into "The Wonders of Cleaning," you'll notice the term, "Dry Clean First" being used often. This means vacuum the room first before you start to clean. This will cut down on the amount of dust and dirt that is stirred up while you are cleaning. In this book you will find that I use some commercial cleaning supplies and basic brand name cleaning supplies that most people use every day. If you shop at your local close out store, you can find most of the supplies you need. You will also learn how to use your on board tools and brushes of your vacuum cleaner, how to check your vacuum's filter and clean your tools and finally how to use deodorizer's in your vacuum. So let's begin by talking about some of the hazards of the job.
