A Memoried People, Remembering, Made Whole is a retrospective gallery selection of twentieth century writings - sermons, prayers, poems -germane to the twenty-first century turn of events with their shocking reminders of our brokeness, our human condition - mismanagement of ourselves in relation to one another, issuing in unbridled and unhinging racism, sexism, tribalism terrorism, violence, corporate scandals, greed, war, rumors of war, upheavals in church and society - that shake the foundations of faith and order. The selections invite and encourage reader reflection and response as Christians, Jews, Muslims, citizens of the nation and the world ponder what is important in life, what we value and wherein is our hope.
