This book tells of a little girlwho was given away at birth to abusive family members, who was scorned andmaltreated because of the sins of her parents.¿On every lip in the community, it was said, "You are not going to benothing" as my family said my mother was nothing.¿ The book gives details accounts of childabuse that is devastating and demeaning.¿I was portraited as being bad and no good andthose very words resound throughout the community.¿ The family made it known all over town that Iwas unfit because the wrong man fathered me.¿The book shows through strength and self-preservation I was able toendure the abuse and remain sane throughout the years.¿ The book is actually designed to encourageothers who are being abused to talk to someone and those who were abused toopen up and talk about the abuse and to forgive themselves as well as theabusers.¿ It was because I made a fullcommitment to God that I was able to heal and is made whole.¿ I too was once ashamed to speak of the abuse,now I know that God needs others to know that there is forgiveness and completewholeness in his love.
