I Wish You Heavy Loads: a Collection from the Tough Poet
Marty Rickard
"I Wish You Heavy Loads" is the title of a poem in this book which contains a message for the author's children and highlights the growing lack of discipline in our society.
Marty RicKard's poetry will slap you in the face, make you mad and provoke thought. It sizzles like a thick, juicy steak, but it doesn't chew easy. You will find enough sinew in this book to force your brain off the couch and put it to work.
These are beautiful poems with flowing verse and gritty imagery.
