Lacking a man in her life, Frankie decides that she has recovered enough from the loss of her beloved pet fur baby Princess to celebrate the upcoming Christmas Holiday with a new Rescue Pet, but running into Theodore "Teddy" Drake just as she finds the perfect German Shorthaired Pointer is the last thing she expects.

She knows of him because his Snowdragon Shifter Clan and her own Crimson Dragon Clave are sworn enemies. As they squabble over the same rescue pet, he exhibits every loathsome trait she despises in the opposite sex, and even exhibits a few unique ones!
