The Weight of Labels: A Poetic Display of an Internal Shift is a three-part collection of poetry that documents the author's journey towards self-love and self-awareness. African-American, LGBT, woman - are just a few of the labels that have played a role in the unfolding of the experiences that inspired each poem.
