Forty Years of In-between Days: Listening to the Cure 1977-2017 Dave Thompson

First published in 2005, Forty Years of In Between Days - Listening to the Cure, 1977-2017 is a fully updated and revised edition of the ultimate listening guide to one of modern rock's most immutable institutions. Album by album, gig by gig, Forty Years of In Between Days makes sense of a uniquely versatile band, documenting their development from the new wave of 1979's Boys Don't Cry, the existential rage of Pornogaphy and the dark beauty of Disintegration, through the majesty of Bloodflowers and 4:13 Dream, and on to the once unimaginable milestone of the band's fortieth anniversary in 2017.
