The Streets of New Quay Sue Passmore

The Streets of New Quay relates the history of every house built here before 1960 and includes references to later houses where they appear in the village. The area encompassed is that of the old Urban District Council. This history of New Quay's growth from a tiny handful of fishermen's and coastguards' cottages has never been traced so thoroughly. There are many new discoveries as a result of this detailed study . It is very exciting to see vanished houses re-emerge both in their history and in old photographs, the majority of which have never before been published.
