The Apology Hassan Rasheed

I had peeked under the clouds and saw a light so bright and hard to elucidate. It has taken hundreds of years to get to where we ended up and I have but a few years left in my life to help the rest of the civilized to at least give this light a glance. With the Earth on the cusp of a catastrophe and my realization the culprit evolved that way, I can't help but feel guilty and the rest of the civilized should feel the same. After all we are the "intelligent" ones and should have changed our habits to accommodate Earth's ways. I now must confess, take responsibility for my actions and the actions of those who preceded me of the refined because we have created the great burden Earth now carries.
