This title was first published in 2003. Globalisation can be seen to provide the context for epoch-defining changes in social and economic forms of organisation. This text examines the dynamics of change and development in two regions of the world economy, Latin America and Asia, and is a series of explorations into the forces, their political dynamics, and the responses of governments and citizens.
