Jack's attempts to have a face-to-face meeting with the president lead to a chase across the country and set off a chain of events that threaten to ignite a second Civil War and the thermonuclear annihilation of Belgium, London and most of Arkansas. An alternate version of Alternate Facts was published before the Trump win as Neon Martini. The book had to be drastically revised to reflect that unreality.
