Monica has a powerful testimony of determination, faith, illness and modern day miracles. Her story speaks of living life to the fullest no matter what is thrown your way because everyone is struggling with something. Monica was given a diagnosis of End Stage Renal Failure at the young age of 27 years old. She has learned to live with kidney disease as a dialysis patient, a wife, a mother, a student and an employee. She speaks of the challenges of divorce, the new normal having a chronic illness presents and determination. As difficult as times have been she has managed to educate herself and work towards making sure the knowledge of this life threating disease she lives with doesn't have to take as many lives. Today she lives to share awareness of this silent killer with anyone who has a listening ear.
