Summer at Happy Farms Diane Loutzenhiser

Much to Susie's delight, she's invited to live on her grandparents' farm of miniature animals for the summer. Every day seems to bring new ups and downs as she encounters the farm's nasty rooster, befriends a brand new litter of puppies, and falls in love with a little lamb named Scar. Loneliness, responsibility, heartache, compassion, and hard work - every day on the farm teaches Susie a new life lesson. Squealing piglets, wild hayrides, a stubborn donkey, and an escaping horse are just the beginning of Susie's summer adventures on the farm. Join in on this wonderful family-centered adventure.
