"Navaneetham" means freshly churned butter. The book has only two chapters followed by a glossary of the Hindustani words in it. The two chapters named "UpaGita" and "Puro-geetham" are comments on the contents of the Bhagavad Gita. They connect the teachings of the Gita to modern life and its demands. UpaGita explains the difference between the sexual provocativeness of the West and the apparent prudery of the East. It tells how life can move towards the future without destroying the environment. Personal and social graces are explained in easily understandable common-man's advice.
