Manchester England had once been a thriving industrial center in Great Briton but today it resembled a hodgepodge of modern skyscrapers and old industrial brick factories. He stared down the length of Oxford Road through the annoying, steady rain. As an alternative energy engineer, it was days like this that made him depressed. His was a world of sunlight, wind and geothermal energies. A far cry from a worn down industrial city full of concrete and steel. Little did Paul know that his proposal for creating a cold water power plant had received the blessings of the company's tough CEO. Emma Greely was about to send Paul and his interpret band of alternative energy engineers on a perilous quest to establish a trial plant on the far off island of Rarotonga, a member of the Cook Island chain located in the South Pacific. Along the way they would face danger and death, romance and friendship. Their project would culminate in success and mystery. All in the life of an engineer!
