What is God? This is a timeless question. And one that is of ultimate importance. It is directly related to questions like 'Does God exist?', 'Can there be multiple Gods?', 'What will happen when I die?', 'What is good?', 'What am I to do?', and so on. In this book, I hope to give a definitive answer to these timeless and important questions. The answer is not based on scripture or divine revelation (although will bring out the meaning of scripture and divine revelation). Instead, it is based on the widely and readily acceptable notion that 'God' refers to something that is supernatural. This seems to be a solid basis because it is undeniable: What is not supernatural, is not God. It also has concrete and practical consequences. For example, if God is supernatural, it follows that there cannot be more than one God and that God exists. In short, this book demystifies the mystery. It shows that knowing what God is, is knowing that God is. It shows that understanding results in faith. This is more suitable for a modern people who want to know for themselves and not just rely on what authorities preach. I cannot but hope that this may help you to attain salvation, divine union, enlightenment, liberation, wisdom, or whatever you call that which sets you free. Free from sin and the consequences of sin, free from separation, free from craving and ignorance and the pain it causes, free from the cycle of birth and death and its suffering, or, to put it in somewhat plainer terms, free from the stress that comes from being deceived by appearances.
