Cancer acts without you noticing, without mercy, without asking for any kind of permission. Behind my illness lay intense life lessons which I wanted to preserve and share within these pages. Apart from writing, my other greatest passion is music. I have studied it, I have interpreted it and, up until this day, I continue enjoying it as an important part of my life. I have considered that it would be nice to explain this difficult life experience from a different point of view, not trying to advise anyone, nor insisting on the worn out list of recommendations. The great concerts for piano have been my companions in this strange trip and they have become my support to summon the courage to reveal how I felt during those circumstances. In this solidarity book I would like to express my gratitude to all the help I received, contributing with these pages and my personal memories to the fight against cancer.
