Birth Of A Journey is just that. David is born with an ability that allows him to adopt and master the abilities of others. In this volume he goes from birth to teen aged years with the ups and downs of childhood. His only difference is that he must be sheltered away from others with abilities until he shows that he can control the use of them properly.
