When Calvin Monroe starts investigating an ancient Hittite stone carving with a mysterious marking for a college term paper, he begins to think there might be. The paper earns him a chance to travel to Turkey, which sets him off on a journey to see the archaeological wonders of the country-not only to look for the civilization that was lost in the Black Sea, but also to explore the origins of human civilization itself. Did the Flood really happen? Was Atlantis real or just a myth? How did humanity come to acquire the knowledge they needed to develop civilizations?
