Hi, my name is Alessandro Gigli. I am a musician, singer, songwriter, music producer, and painter based in Kent, England. To me, poetry is the essence of life, the essence of love, the essence of everything. A life lived reading poems, I believe, is a better life. I hope you agree with me. This book, is a collection of poems, that I have written during my entire life, and it is part of a series of books of poems, that will be released, one by one, shortly after this one. I have chosen the best poems from my collection, for you, and put them in a "BOX." The title is very personal, because each one of these poems is like a child to me; therefore, I called them "Precious Stones."These poems are based on real-life events. Each one of them will give you a strong message. You may find some of the poems, contained in this "BOX," a bit controversial. I believe controversy is important and even essential in this life. You will also find that these poems, are made by a rebel, for rebels like you. Each one of these "Precious Stones," will make you see the world differently, it will show you different perspectives, it will show you beautiful things and ugly things. The most important thing you will have to do is to use your interpretation, and make these poems, yours.
