Charlie, confident and curious, and Jack, reserved and mysterious, meet at a young age and the paths they take in life differ as both circumstance and choice guide their journeys. The forces that strengthen them and those that weaken will mould who they become. A young girl's interest in magic sends her across an immeasurable distance of time and space and with her she brings something wicked. In a quiet town a number of events that defy logic follow her arrival. Locals begin to panic as incomprehensible crimes begin to occur. Both Jack and Charlie endeavor to seek answers to their own puzzles as the interconnections of the cosmos begin to manifest within their lives.
