The Many Shades of Darcelle - 50 years of fashion takes a step back from the usual coffee table book. Culling through over 5,000 photos and documents Donnie has assembled a book that details Walter W Cole's life as Darcelle. The book is broken up into sections showing the various color of dresses, parades, famous people, even animals (and those in animal costumes) that he has encountered over the various phases of his life. The history also of when Walter purchased the Demas Tavern in Old Town/Portland Oregon and transforming into the only continuous drag performance cabaret in the United States known as Darcelle XV Showplace.
