Understanding the Capacity of your team or environment is very important for any leader whether you are a parent, spouse, pastor, CEO or etc. When you don't the know the capacity of your team it causes aggravation in one and intimidation for other. Sometimes when you function outside of your area, outside of your abilities, you make a mess. The kingdom is getting messed up because many of us are functioning outside of our area. We don't know our capacity! We don't know what we are supposed to be doing. Just because you are a pastor doesn't mean God called you to do everything!Some people can be given multiple tasks and complete them in a day. Other people can only be given one task and it takes them two or three days to complete. But when the task is completed, it will be proficient. However, if you give them five tasks, they will feel overwhelmed and intimidated and won't get ANYTHING done! You, as the leader, have to know who is capable of handling multiple tasks to and who can only handle one task. As a leader, you may need to review some people's tasks BEFORE assigning them any other tasks. Their capacity is only a basic process, but their work is proficient on the basic process! We need to learn their ability and skills so that we can properly assign tasks to individuals who can complete the tasks. Leaders, you must know your people and your people must know what you expect of them! This scenario can be found in your churches, your home and your job. The leaders are aggravated because the tasks aren't completed and the workers are aggravated or scared because they can't produce.
