Journalist Andy Wagner returns home for his 20th high school reunion. To his friends, Andy seems to have the perfect life, but privately he is dealing with a crumbling marriage and pending major career change. A stray remark sets off a series of flashbacks leading to intertwined stories; one of Andy and his friends from a fateful week during their senior year of high school and the other chronicling his current mess of a life. The memories lead to some harsh realizations of what life is really about.
