Marriage is a sacred commitment that takes a lifetime to fulfill. Without the proper perspective from the start, we can unknowingly impose an unfair expectation on our spouse that can lead to unnecessary pain. During the early years of our marriage we learned the marriage vows that we recited before God were becoming real. Our goal for this book is to be transparent with the hope that what you learn from our story will help you grow to become the couple that God desires for you to be. This book represents 40 years of a lot of "I Do's" and a significant amount of "I Don'ts", but God's grace showed us that we had a bigger purpose to fulfill in our marriage.
