The purity of grace Steven Maya

A lot of us at some point in time have seen God as angry with us, or at least displeased with our performance. But what if the Father was never, ever mad at us? What if in Christ He was never displeased with us? What if the Christian life was never about performance? What if God at all times has been crazy in love with us? What if we were so valuable to Him, that even if we reject His sacrifice He still would of made it: just to give us the opportunity to live. That's the kind of love the Father has towards us. My own conviction is the only way into this love is purely grace. The scripture says in Romans 5:8: that God ( the Father ) showed how much he loved us by this, that why we were yet sinners Christ died for us. While we were yet sinners, at our worst state He loved us; why as children do we think He would be mad? The truth is He is not mad, not even slightly offended. Believe it or not, God is actually in a good mood: and you should be too. As a human being, you are: yes I said you! You are the object of His affection. Not when everything is going good, right now with all your imperfections, everyone of your faults: God says to you, you were worth the payment. and so was I. As we take this journey together I expect that you will begin to see the Father as well as yourself through new eyes. Eyes of grace!
