The Power of Fasting and Prayer will not only teach Christians how to fast for spiritual and natural results, but how to destroy every yoke of bondage upon his/her own personal life. Fasting is not as hard to do as some have made it seem; however, the mindset of a person who fasts must change and his/her motives behind fasting must be appropriately driven. These and many other issues will be discussed in this book. People across the nation are professing Christianity and claim to have aspirations of becoming like Christ; however, many people do not want to put up a sacrifice. Christ walked a perfect life before all those He ministered to, healed, and set free. The word of God says, "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" (II Cor. 5:21). Jesus knew what it was to overcome, and has consequently, given us the greatest example. As He overcame the world, He has given us power to do the same, and overcome our adversary, Satan. Let us take a closer look and find out how we will win the battle of the flesh.
