In the span of little over one year, I lost four beloved companions. I began a blog to vent the heartache trapped inside and help others cope with personal grief of their own. Grief is grief; losing a furry loved one breaks the heart deeply. Each day brings a different path. On some days, the road is paved and smooth. On other days, the potholes of one's heart mark deep ruts in the journey. But one thing I know is for certain--the leprechauns were right. Gold does wait at the end of my Rainbow, the Rainbow Bridge, of course.
