So many children are struggling with anxiety in the world today. Where do parents turn? We need to lead our children to the peace that only Jesus can give them. Biblical counselor, Alyssa Cathers, M. A., has created a beautifully illustrated children's book, Anxious Abby and The Camp Trust Challenge, that takes the abstract concept of anxiety and makes it understandable to children through the symbol of a backpack filled with Worry characters. Children learn that they have a choice to hold onto their anxiety or take it off like a backpack. They are empowered to fill their minds with Grandslam Bible Truths rather than worries. Not only will children love reading all about Abby's adventures at Camp Trust and seeing who wins the softball game, they also are given "Your Turn" biblical counseling activities to apply the material to their lives. Alyssa has provided a Coaching Kids letter, Homerun Helps, and a kid's note from Coach Courage. Anxious Abby and The Camp Trust Challenge is especially designed for children ages 6-12.
